Consider sweeping your walkways and driveway, rather than using water to hose them down. This will help to conserve water and keep our waterways cleaner by keeping oil, antifreeze and lawn chemicals out of them.

If you have to use chemical cleaners, it is essential that you use them safely. Make sure to read all of the labels and store them where kids can't reach them.  You should also dispose the chemical cleaners properly; DO NOT dump them in storm drains, your yard, etc.

Of course, the best course of action is to use eco-friendly cleaners!
